High tech and specialty gases
Honeywell Vertex™ M and Vertex™ Edge
Vertex™ M is the middle tier of the Chemcassette® family: 8 to 24 points of continuous toxic gas monitoring at parts-per-billion level, for installations that need tape-based detection but not 72 measuring points.

What it is
Purpose and use
The point count is the whole decision here. A four-point analyser is too small for a production area with several tool bays; a 72-point system with redundancy is oversized for a single laboratory wing. Vertex™ M sits between them and is normally the right answer for a defined production area or a research building.
Vertex™ Edge is positioned by Honeywell as a cost-effective toxic gas monitoring system that detects the ultra-sensitive gases in the process, protecting people and assets while reducing downtime.

FAQ
Questions about Honeywell Vertex™ M and Vertex™ Edge
When is Vertex™ M the right size instead of the full Vertex™ system?
When the installation needs between roughly 8 and 24 points and does not require full redundancy for mission-critical uptime. Above that point count, or where a monitoring outage would stop production, the full Vertex™ system with built-in redundancy is the appropriate platform.
